Easy Assembly
The DeCoro Upholstered Headboard Platform Bed is easy to assemble; it can be put together in less than an hour. All parts, tools, and instructions are neatly packed in a zippered compartment in the back of the headboard. Just unpack, assemble the frame and attach the hardware and you are ready to place your mattress (and foundation if you please) on top. It is recommended that the upholstered bed frame should be assembled in the room that it is intended for use:
•Step 1- Take all components out of the box and position them on the floor
•Step 2- Attach the legs to the bottom of the headboard and to the bottom of the footboard
•Step 3- Assemble the left side rails to the center horizontal support rail. Assemble the right-side rails to the center horizontal support rail.
•Step 4- Attach the headboard to the assembled side rails
•Step 5- Attach the footboard to the assembled side rails
•Step 6- Attach the center support rails to the middle of assembled bed
•Step 7- Attach the horizontal center support rail to the middle of the assembled bed
•Step 8- Attach the wood slats
•Step 7- Place your mattress on top and enjoy!

It is also a good idea to check the size and the height of your mattress to make sure you are ordering the correct size. Keep in mind that you should combine the height of the frame, foundation (if you are adding one), and the mattress to get a gauge of the how tall your bed will be. Also note, because of the solid construction of this platform bed, it is recommended that two people lift and assemble the bed. Total weight should not exceed 700 lbs. including the mattress.
